Festivals are over and it is always more difficult to get over the hangover of festivals in India.
India is known for its culture and tradition and everyone feels very excited during this part of the year.
Every market and street is decorated with lights and rangoli and the country has a full vibe of celebration during Diwali.
After Diwali, Govardhan is celebrated, and the day after that, Bhaiya Dooj, where the whole family gets together to celebrate the festival. Gifts and sweets are exchanged, and everyone is tempted by amazing traditional cuisine.
After that Chhat puja is celebrated with full excitement and zeal mainly in Bihar and northern parts of India
After celebrating amazing festivals, it’s difficult to get back to work. People pack their bags and return to their workplace, promising their loved ones to come again as soon as possible.
But it’s the way of life after the celebration and we all have to come to the daily routine again work hard and face all the challenges of daily life.
Here are my 5 ways to get over the hangover of the festive season
Detox as per nutrition expert
Yes, we all indulge in eating sweets, chocolates, and fried foods and drinks and it’s ok not to worry. Celebration is important but tracking your health after the festival is also very important.
Get some guidance or take some plans from experts to detox or just avoid all the junk and sweets for some days and eat light and clean.
Make a routine again.
If your routine is disturbed during the festive season it’s time to start again. If you missed your morning routine let’s start the morning routine once again because if not today then when, months will pass and we will not be able to track our health,so start early as possible with a little meditation.
Join fun activities in evening .
To be active in the evening try out some fun activities in your nearest gyms. It would be fun and you will be able to forget your festive vibes, celebrate and enjoy your activities, and take care of your health simultaneously.
Avoid phones and screens during night times.
We are addicted to our phones checking the status and profiles of others showing off in their reels and posts and thinking we didn’t celebrate this way or wear similar outfit stop yes stop and avoid comparisons with others.
If you are not able to create good edited videos for content doesn’t mean your life has nothing exciting, your life is the best and what you have is the best.
Read good positive books during the night or practice gratitude
If you love reading books, read books during night time but I would suggest some positive ones so you have good thoughts before sleep. I think you should avoid horror etc during night time.
If you don’t enjoy reading then practice simple gratitude or just start by listing 5 good things you experience in a day or you are thankful for.
By doing this you will be able to remember the good things happening in life and good people supporting us in hard times which we often forget during the hussle bussle of our day.
Thank God for giving all the good things, best supporting people in life avoiding the negativity, and focusing on positivity.
Conclusion
These were my 5 ways to deal with low and lonely feelings after the festival season to again restart your journey to this beautiful life in which you are not alone, we all are suffering and struggling from hardships and difficulties, and by discussing we realize not to forget everyone is trying a little more, fighting their own battle of fear, anger, procrastination and stress.
It’s always the fight with our battle of weakness inside, it was never the battle outside.
We are all in the same boat and with the help of one another will be able to avoid our weaknesses and focus more on positivity and strength
