Sisodia Rani Bagh

History and Architecture

This palace garden was built in 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh for the queen who belonged to the Sisodia clan ruled Mewar and still nominally rule Mewar region of Rajasthan.

The garden looks gorgeous full of verdant green trees🌳 and colourful flowers 🌺 in wide variety.

The most stunning part is the Multilayered palace in the garden full of beautiful paintings, murals, frescoes and fountains with unique architecture is worth exploring.

Paintings of Lord Krishna and Radha are beautifully decorated on the walls of the palace, Observing this majestic art will leave you awestruck.

  • Timing : 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 
  • Fee for Indian nationals is Rs 50 per adult and for foreigners is Rs 200 per adult.
  • The best time to visit this garden is from July to March. The picturesque view of garden increases further during the monsoon season🌦️ when beautiful flowers bloom making the place stunning.
  • This garden is 10 km away from Jaipur, so now you can book a cab or auto rickshaw for this. The bus option is also available to reach here, you just have to face a little crowd.

Albert Hall Museum

Architecture and Design

The architecture of this museum is a blend of Indian, Mughal, and Gothic styles and is the best example of Indo-Saracenic style architecture and design.

The museum is inside Ram Niwas Garden and is considered the city’s oldest museum. 

The museum building is made of marble and stones and the intricately carved carvings, domes, arches, and courtyard proves to be an exquisite experience for the one coming here.

The museum is situated near Amber fort in Anokhi Haveli and was opened in 2005 intends to preserve the traditional crafts, techniques and rich history.

For the restoration of this incredible mansion this building was awarded the UNESCO Cultural Heritage Conservation Award in 2000.
