City Palace

City palace is a 400 years old palace of Udaipur which was built by the ruler of the mewar dynasty. This palace is very impressive to look at and is situated on the east bank of Lake Pichola in which there are other palaces within the complex.

City palace is built on the top of a hill in flamboyant style with Rajasthani Rajput architecture which gives a picturesque view of Udaipur city, Lake pichola’s lake palace, jag mandir, jagdish temple, monsoon palace surrounded by aravali ranges is one of the interesting and magnificent places to see or explore in Udaipur.

The highest point of city palace is Amar Vilas palace consists of  hanging gardens with fountains, towers and terraces. In the palace you will get to see beautiful ancient paintings, pictures of peacocks, and a beautiful collection of mewar paintings.

Durbar hall is beautifully  decorated with luxurious interior and magnificent chandelier which was the first venue for meeting at that time.

Lake Pichola

Lake pichola is the one of the biggest artificial freshwater lakes of india surrounded by several islands , palaces , marble temples , family mansions and boating in the evening in the calm lake ,with pink orange colors of sky in the sunset creates a magical vibe surrounded by the magical city and the aravali ranges.

There various restaurants and cafes surrounded the Lake pichola making the place lively and chill during the evening. There are four island on the lake jag Niwas, Jag Mandir, Mohan Mandir and Arsi Vilas.

Jag Mandir

Jag mandir is situated hai south side of the Lake pichola and is the exquisite floating marble palace is also known as  Lake Garden Palace was the reception hall were made with rajput and Mughal style architecture.

jag mandir consists of beautiful flower garden in the courtyard of palace complex consist of rose, palm trees , jasmine flowers beautifully decorated with white and black tiles the courtyard has water pools and fountains which looks magnificent.

White beautiful elephant are at the entry gate to welcome every guest. Darikhana is an open side terrace now operating as a restaurant offering authentic traditional Rajasthani cuisine.

Museum in the jag mandir is a must visit places depicting the important historical artifacts of mewar dynasty.

Bagore Ki Haveli

Bagore ki haveli is the best place to explore for any art lover for its magnificent architecture and craftsmanship this haveli is the beautiful combination of decorative archways , balconies , jharokha, huge courtyard and fountains.

With exceptional mirror work this haveli has 138 rooms and the walls are adorned with beautiful mural paintings and glassworks the chamber crafted for ladies is also worth watching consists of beautiful colors windows and peacocks made with colored glass mosaic crafted magnificently.

Dharohar dance show is conducted in the evening where beautiful lit balconies organize rajasthan folk music and dance show And after that rajasthani puppet show is organized which is most loved among kids.

Fateh Sagar Lake

Fateh sagar lake is also one of the surreal artificial lakes of Udaipur consists of three islands one of them Is beautiful Nehru park . This beautiful lake surrounded by emerald green mountains creates breathtaking view.

The lake has rich flora and fauna and the Nehru park offers lush green and serene environment and a small zoo is the home of beautiful birds and animals which is must have experience you can enjoy water sports activities like boating ,motor boating, speed boating both serene beauty and adventure at the experienced at the same time. Impressive water jet fountain is unique feature which is lit during night time looks beautiful.

Visiting crystal gallery

Crystal gallery consists of of exclusive and magnificent collection of crystals items include fine sofa set, crystal bed, dining table, lamps. Mirrored table tops, crockery sets are the most unique here.

The crystal embedded carpet with fine work of gold and silver threads sparkles lit a gallery and makes it look magnificent. Jaisamand Lake

Jaisamand lake is India’s 2nd largest man made lake which is surrounded by Jaisamand wildlife Sanctuary. This wildlife sanctuary is a teak forest which is situated on the banks of the lake.

There is a marble dam which is 300 m long and is also a heritage site and monuments of India.The summer palace of the queen is the perfect backdrop of this place. You can do boating in this serene lake and visit the wildlife sanctuary which is habitat of birds ,indian leopards chetal which is worth visiting.
